I certainly lack as a blogger

Some people may disagree, I can certainly type a dissertation on an email.  However if I try to come up with a description of a project I'm working on I draw blanks.  Maybe its because its something I did and when I'm done I'm done.

Anyway my new goal (like my list isn't already carried away) is to try to post here new items in my shop - and see how I do.  I do post to Instagram (I probably fail their too) however upwords and onwords!!!

This project I created using the discs you can buy at Staples or on amazon.  I use a Arc punch which is exactly the same size as the punches for all the disc type planners out there.  Its wonderful - you can add pages when ever you want - take them out if you mess up it just goes on and on.

For me (and I can work around this) the only one draw back would be that I cannot ..... not..... punch some of the holes.  But whatever its still super great.

I'v made a lot of notebooks and I have also laminated the covers for a sturdier book.  Its endless - journals, planners, art journals..... whatever.  I sell digital kits in my shop myadoriplanner@etsy.com if thats a start for you.

Here is the current set in the shop right now.  This is a really full set - including covers, tab pages, ephemera, plain pages, folders - everything I would like in a digital file set.  The little book measures 4x5" and is the perfect size for your purse, tote, or car seat!!!!

Client Request - box card

Hello all!!!  Recently a client saw one of my box cards and asked if I could design one for her husband, for Valentines Day.  Well of course I can!!!  The box card will collapse flat fitting into the envelope - and will then open into the 3-d effect.  I little bulky for mailing, however so worth the surprise!!  I do enjoy creating box cards the options are endless.  The steam punk digital papers are from Ephemera Vintage Garden.

Flip out planner

I have really enjoyed designing this insert.  It lets you have your week undated - with the option of using the lip out as a page marker.  Two secretarial pockets, one on the front, one on the back - let you keep all those extra little things you need.  Choosing your insert page style can be done using the "request a customization" button!!! https://www.etsy.com/listing/247863839/tn-midori-flip-out-over-wo2p?ref=shop_home_active_4

No Bake Gingerbread houses

My quick wrapping.... no bake Gingerbread houses.  Paper bag, paint, hole punch, and, ribbon.

Done.  (except I found myself making more houses than I needed.... because - well - painting them was fun)

hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Year - Nicole

Inhale Love Exhale Gratitude

I always print my pictures - when I use my midori I have two systems I like to put my photos into.  One is the inhale love and exhale gratitude, which is a mini journal on the left and pictures on the right.  Since I don't really journal much the few lines there work well for me, and I can do this!!!  I write a note or two each day - then insert a photo into my psd file and print at the end of the week

My other favorite insert uses pockets.  That one I really do enjoy using - its amazing how many photos you can get in there, and of course I don't really have to say anything.
